Up to 64 steps per track
16 pads visible, up to 64 steps per track. Copy/paste the visible page or the whole track, clear lanes, randomize and stay locked to host playhead and BPM.
Polymeter and per-track rates
Kick on 16, hats on 12 in the same loop. Set per-track rate to /2, 3T or x2 for triplet feels and half-time pockets.
Step locks
Paint pitch, micro-timing, probability, velocity, attack, decay, tone/filter and drive per step. Drop a different sample or an FX card on a single step.
Fills and groove
40 built-in fills plus a custom editor up to 12 sub-hits. Live Fill is quantized and non-destructive. 31 groove types, vintage shuffle models and a drawable Clock Wave.
Drum engine
One-shots per track with round-robin, dual filters including MS-20, Moog, SEM and more, a modular FX chain, noise colors, amp/mod envelopes, per-track LFO and a modulation matrix. Up to 64 voices.
AI drum generation
Generate a one-shot per track from a prompt and drop it straight onto the lane. No pack shopping, no USB stick.
GrooveGod Sidecheck built in
Dual-stage compressor so any track can duck any other. Route key, track-to-track or rest-of-mix with punch, sustain, ratio, knee, makeup, sidechain HPF and M/S.
MIDI and hardware
APC-style pad control, Caps Lock A–P performance, MIDI in/out, import/export grooves, and Sampler Mode to hide the sequencer and play samples from MIDI.
Load or generate
Open a factory kit, or generate a one-shot with AI and drop it on a track.
Sequence
Up to 64 steps, polymeter, fills and probability — hands on in the DAW.

How do I unlock the plugin?
Open GrooveGod Hercules, hit Unlock, and paste the license key from your account — or sign in with your email and approve the machine on GridBit.com.
How many computers?
3 machines per account, shared across the plugins you own. Reinstalling on the same machine does not use a new slot.
Does it need to be online?
Only for account, download and activation. The plugin re-checks in the background about every 7 days and keeps working offline until the license ticket expires.
What if I hit the machine limit?
Open your account, remove a machine from the device list, then activate the new one.
