A continuous 64-step grid

No page switching. Scroll smoothly across up to 64 fixed-size steps, or widen the window to see the entire pattern at once.

Polymeter and per-track rates

Kick on 16, hats on 12 in the same loop. Set per-track rate to /2, 3T or x2 for triplet feels and half-time pockets.

Euclidean MIDI mode

Each track spreads hits evenly across its length (pulses + rotate) and sends them live to Apollo or any other instrument in your project. MIDI out is on by default — in Ableton, set MIDI From on the synth track to Hercules.

Melodic Euclidean control

Global key, scale, quantize and pitch, with a live latched root from your keyboard — chords included. Set each track to Drum or MIDI with Note, Degree or Chord on its own MIDI channel. Kit samples stay off until you turn on Play samples.

Step locks

Paint pitch, micro-timing, probability, velocity, attack, decay, tone/filter and drive per step. Drop a different sample or an FX card on a single step.

Fills, genres and groove

40 built-in fills plus a custom editor up to 12 sub-hits. Stretch a genre pattern to 64 steps and it fills the complete grid. Add 31 groove types, vintage shuffle models and a drawable Clock Wave.

Drum engine

One-shots per track with round-robin, dual filters including MS-20, Moog, SEM and more, noise colors and up to 64 voices. Drag the modular FX cards sideways to build your own processing order.

AI drum generation

Generate a one-shot per track from a prompt and drop it straight onto the lane. No pack shopping, no USB stick.

Track-to-track sidechain

A dual-stage compressor lets any track duck any other. Route key, track-to-track or rest-of-mix with punch, sustain, ratio, knee, makeup, sidechain HPF and M/S.

MIDI that preserves the groove

Export notes with parameter locks, timing, groove and modulation baked in. Sampler Mode follows the same notes, gates and locks, with APC-style pads and MIDI in/out ready for hardware.
