Built to match Hercules

Choose the same genre and pattern number in Apollo and Hercules to create a coordinated harmonic and drum set. Notes are written in-scale, with quantize off by default so the authored feel stays intact.

Two Apollos, one set

One instance plays chords or bass. Load two Apollos to mix, tune and parameter-lock each part independently while keeping both in the same genre set.

REC live onto steps

Record chords, melodies and strums straight onto steps with auto-advance. 1–128 steps, two pattern slots, Elektron-style step rates (1×, 3/4×, 1/2×, 2×).

Key, scale and groove

Key + scale snap, real-time transpose, per-row transpose zones, plus groove, humanize and per-step micro-timing.

115 presets onboard

A factory library of 115 presets tuned for unique electronic music — from analog-inspired synths to multisample instruments — so inspiration is loaded the moment you open Apollo.

Three oscillators

Osc 1 + Osc 2 run multisamples, single-cycle or wavetables — 70 factory multisample packs and Analog, Digital, Spectral, Vowel, User and Cymatics wavetables. Osc 3 adds a oneshot attack layer, plus eight noise colors.

Playback that fits the source

One-shot, Loop, Granular, Karplus-Strong and Modal for samples; period-loop for wavetables. Irrelevant modes stay hidden.

Warp, drive and stereo FX

Classic FM, PD, AM, RM, PM, feedback, exponential warp and wavefold meet selectable Soft, Tube, Tape, Fold and Fuzz drive, plus chorus, flanger, Ring and Crush algorithms.

A modular FX chain

Drag insert cards into your preferred order. Two flexible filters put MS-20, Moog, SEM, Prophet, Oberheim, Comb, Diode and more into LP or HP operation.

Guitar and bass amps

Choose Twin, Plexi, AC30, Recto, SVT, Ampeg, Darkglass and more, then set Mix and Tone. The amp always sits last, after filters and inserts, like a cabinet on the output.

Mod Assign

Drag any of four envelopes or four LFOs onto a knob, then set the amount in a clear Source-to-Destination list. Modulators and parameter locks can even shape each other's amounts.

Parameter locks and morph

Lock warp, FM, filter and oscillator knobs per step. Scene A/B morphs between two full snapshots.

Sequencer to sampler

Export MIDI with locks, groove and timing baked in, then hide the sequencer and play the same notes, legato and voice path in Sampler Mode. MIDI out can still drive the rest of your rack.

Record

Arm REC and play the chord — it lands on the step.

Shape

Lock knobs per step, quantize to key, transpose rows.

Swap sounds

Change the preset or the target synth. The groove survives.
